Multi-Cultural
The Multi Cultural Ministries was created with the goal of reaching the Hispanic population; the French Caribbean and African population; the Luzo Brazilian population in our conference.
Our Mission - is to proclaim to all communities the everlasting gospel in the context of the three angel's message of Revelation 14:6-12, leading them to accept Jesus as their personal savior.
Our Method - is planting, teaching, sharing and spreading the Good News: "Jesus is the solution."
Our Vision - planting churches for all of the cultures we have in our conference territory in the past 15 months the work has grown by leaps and bounds. God has tremendously blessed as the work of soul winning and evangelism has been carried on throughout the conference.
So far we have 7 Hispanic congregations; 4 groups in process; 2 Haitian congregations; 1 Brazilian in process; 1 Romanian in process and several groups in process with another culture. In the last year, 34 Hispanic people were baptized.
Thousands of Hispanic people live in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus and Toledo, Ohio as well as Pittsburgh and Erie, Pennsylvania. The Hispanic people are also evident in Martinsville and Danville, Virginia and Martinsburg, West Virginia.
In the city of Columbus, Ohio, we have a large community of African immigrants from Somalia, Ghana, Togo, Cote d'Ivoire and so forth. It is my priority to tell them "Jesus is the Solution" and "Jesus is the Fountain of life for them". The vision of the department is to create a favorable image of the church's mission, life and activities, so that many will become followers of Christ and accept Him.
